An independently made Scripture app for the moments you reach for your phone.
Why context matters
A verse belongs to a larger thought. Distracted keeps those thoughts together, whether you’re moving through the feed or following a theme.
The aim is to make Scripture part of an ordinary day, with room to read, reflect and return to a passage.
The text
and artwork
Scripture editions include the Berean Standard Bible, Majority Standard Bible, World English Bible in two spelling editions, and Reina-Valera 1909. The app preserves each edition’s identity and includes its source notices.
The image library contains 50 original generated portrait backgrounds, created during development. Creating and sharing a Scripture image happens on the device; the app does not call an image-generation service.

This policy explains the current Distracted Android app and this promotional website, published under the Zuriel Labs developer name.
Information in the app
Distracted does not require an in-app account and has no advertising or analytics. The app has no Internet permission and does not send your notes, saved passages, reading preferences or reminder settings to Zuriel Labs. These are stored locally on your device.
Sharing and backups you choose
If you share text or an image, Android passes the selected content to the app you choose. Personal notes are not automatically included in Scripture shares. The receiving app handles that content under its own privacy practices.
You can export a backup to a location or storage provider you select. That backup contains personal app data, including notes. Protect it as you would other personal files. Distracted does not upload it to a Zuriel Labs server.
Reminders and permissions
Optional reminders are scheduled locally. Android may request notification permission if you enable them. You can change reminder preferences in the app or notification permissions in Android settings.
Deleting your information
You can remove saved passages and notes in the app and use the app’s data-erasure controls. Clearing app storage or uninstalling removes its local data. Backup files you exported and content sent to other apps remain where you put them until you delete those copies separately.
Google Play and purchases
The planned paid download will be handled by Google Play. Google processes store-account and payment information under its policies. Distracted does not ask for or receive your payment-card details inside the app.
This website
This site has no analytics, advertising trackers, newsletter form or marketing cookies. The site uses device fonts and self-hosted images and scripts, without third-party embeds. GitHub Pages hosts the site and may process technical request information under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.
